Have a Happy New Year!

As we enter a New Year, we usually reflect on the last year. We think about what we’ve accomplished, what we failed at, who we spent it with, the memories we made, and what we could have done differently. Sometimes, we set goals for the next year or make resolutions. Other times, we look at past years’ broken resolutions or abandoned goals.

If you do any of the above, I encourage you to do so with love, kindness, forgiveness, and understanding for yourself. Remember to acknowledge all of your accomplishments, no matter how large or small. Speak to yourself the way you would a friend.

Remember that you can always start or try again, as many times as necessary. Success can only happen if we start or try. True failure happens when we never begin or completely give up. Also, the New Year doesn’t have to be your start day because we have 7 days in a week to choose from!

Your goals and resolutions are yours! You can and will make them happen, but on your time frame! You got this!

Be Peaceful,

No Excuse November Day 24: Think About It Thursday 🍂🍃🍁

Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I reflect on all the wonderful Thanksgivings I have been blessed with and everything I am thankful for! Life is not always easy and will never be perfect because there are no perfect people, but there is always so much to be thankful for. What are you reflecting on today?

“Thanksgiving reminds us that no matter what befalls us in life, we can take the charred remnants and we can reconstruct a life unimaginably richer than that from which the shards and pieces fell.”     ~ CRAIG D. LOUNSBROUGH

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”     ~ OPRAH WINFREY

Be Peaceful,

No Excuse November Day 13: Sharing Saturday & Sunday

Hi all! I hope you had a great weekend!

Today was pretty low key. I grocery shopped, had to hit Sally’s, cooked, laundry, etc… We have a big weekend coming up next week, so I tried to just to get some downtime today. What about you? How was your weekend?

I noticed since the time change last weekend, I’m getting tired way too early. Does this happen to anyone else? I restarted taking my vitamins, especially my vitamin D! What do you do for winter time fatigue or blues? I’m considering getting a UV light.

Be Peaceful,

~Nettie

No Excuse November Day 2: Wellness Wednesday

During Blogtober, we learned about the 8 deminsions of wellness: intellectual, emotional, physical, social, occupational, spiritual, environmental, and financial. We also saw how many of them overlap each other. For No Excuse November, we will share things we are doing or could do to get us towards our wellness goals.

Currently, my main deminsions of focus are intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual. What deminsions are you currently focused on or planning to focus on?

Something I am doing towards my intellectual wellness is my CEs for my pharmacy tech license. I do not currently work in that field; I worked hard for that license and would like to maintain it. Something I look forward to doing is the WordPress courses, to learn how to build this site and grow my audience.

I would love to hear what you are doing to focus on your wellness!

Be Peaceful,

~Nettie
